📣 We are thrilled to be partnering with Maine Community Solar this season, a values-driven, Portland-based small business dedicated to helping people understand and participate in community solar programs ☀️

Signing up for a community solar subscription channels the money you spend each month on your electric utility to directly fund the development and maintenance of a new solar field near you 🌎 It’s a free, state-backed program that helps put more clean energy onto the grid and gives participants a 10-15% discount on their electric bills 💸 🙌

We’re stoked to be kicking off this new partnership with an action-based, community initiative + (free!) fundraiser: a 2️⃣-week community solar enrollment drive. From March 23rd to April 8th (solar eclipse day!), Maine Community Solar will donate $50-100 to Rising for each community solar signup. The positive impacts are 3️⃣-fold. Each person who signs up will:
